The national team of Hungary visited Znamensky Cathedral. They were the first topay homeage to the orthodox traditions of the host of the Championship.

The Hungarians went to the Cathedral after the victory against team the Netherlands. Archpriest Sergey showed them the main cathedral of Kuzbass. The sportsmen could observe all the peculiarities of orthodox churches. They were interested in the history of Orthodox religion and it's differences from Catholicism. The architecture and the decoration of the Cathedral impressed the Hungarians greatly. In the end ofthe excursion the bandy players lighted the candles and asked the priest to pray for the success of their national team.
